Phone Manager Professional includes all features from Phone Manager Standard
Agent Based Console
Phone Manager Professional extends the capabilites of the DSS console
to include 'hot agents' as well as extensions and speed dials. With this feature, you don't have to rely
on a colleague being at their desk to be able to check their status - if they're logged in to the
phone system, you'll be able to see if they're busy or not.
Phone Manager Professional can show the status of
Agents logged into the phone system
SMS Messaging
Use Phone Manager Professional to send SMS messages to mobile phones from your desktop*. Simply right-click
an appropriate speed dial icon from the console and select 'Send SMS', then enter your message and hit
send.
Application Support
Integration with a number of commonly used software is included with Phone Manager Professional edition.
Phone Manager Professional can screen-pop or synchronise with Microsoft's Office Outlook®, Access® and
Dynamics® CRM as well as Act!, Goldmine and Maximizer.
For those that require additional application support, the Advanced Plugins package is available to extend range of applications
with which Phone Manager Professional can integrate with.
Application Hot Keys
Phone Manager Professional allows users to perform common tasks by utilising Application Hot Keys.
A customisable combination of keystrokes on the user’s keyboard can automatically carry out a task,
such as placing a call on hold, retrieving a call, setting account codes and transferring calls.
Auto ACD Login/Logout on Startup/Shutdown
Phone Manager Professional can be used to automatically log agents into their phone when they log into
their computers so that the user can start receiving hunt group calls straight away.
This same feature can be used to automatically log the agent out of their phone when they log out of their
computer so that the user does not get hunt group calls while they are logged out of their computer.
TAPI Interface
Phone Manager Professional includes the Xarios TAPI Driver which allows users to dial from other applications
via the Phone Manager application.
For example contacts can easily be dialled from Microsoft Outlook by selecting the
Microsoft Outlook dial button.
Microsoft Office Outlook Integration
Phone Manager Professional can be integrated with Microsoft Outlook including the ability to download
your contacts from Microsoft Outlook and including them in the Quick Directory and the Phone Manager
Directory.
Button Toolbar
The button toolbar gives you a customisable interface through which you can perform commonly
required tasks with ease. Add up to 50 buttons (100 in Team Leader) and give them your own custom-defined
functions and labels.
You can create buttons to:
Button toolbar example
- login/out of individual or all hunt groups
- make calls to pre-assigned numbers
- record calls
- tag recordings
- toggle do-not-disturb mode
- set account codes
- transfer calls
- run custom macros
plus many more.
For applicable functions, the buttons will display colour-coded lights to reflect their state.
For instance, a button which toggles DND mode will show a blue light to indicate that DND mode is on.
Macro Support
To provide a customisable solution, Phone Manager Professional can be configured to
run a variety of VBScript and JScript macros based on events happening on the telephone or from a
toolbar button or hotkey. Macros can be used for many purposes including control of third party
applications (screen popping) and control of the telephone, calls and the Agent ID logged in.
Macros can be written in VBScript or JScript
Development Controls
For a completely integrated solution, the Phone Manager Professional licence provides customers who
develop their own applications or web pages with direct control of the telephone system via the
Phone Manager ActiveX and .NET DLL development tools.
By integrating these tools directly into an application, telephony interaction can be linked
seamlessly with a users normal workflow.
For more information on customised macros and the functionality provided by the development controls,
please contact Xarios Support.
