DSS Console
At the heart of all the Phone Manger versions is the DSS console.
The straightfoward graphical user interface allows quick acces to information about
your colleagues. The standard version allows the user to view information about extensions
and personal/system speed dials only.
Icons will change colour according to the specific extension's DSS status.
For instance, a green icon will signify that the extension is free, but will change to blue the
moment it is set to Do-Not-Disturb.
The DSS console can also be configured to display additional information about each DSS endpoint.
Such information may be anything from the hunt groups they are logged into, their Do-Not-Disturb message,
or even the name/number of the person they are talking to!

Call Banner
The call banner provides information and control over current calls.
When a call is in progress, the call banner automatically opens from the side of the screen.
The banner can be customised to display a variety of information from a large number of available
fields such as CLI, DDI, Contact Name, trunk number and many more.
The call banner also gives you quick access to features such as transferring
calls, placing calls on hold and setting account codes.
Keeping track of multiple calls is made much easier as the background of each call row changes according
to its particular state. Active calls are signified by a blue background, inactive calls by black, and
a call on hold is represented by a red banner.

Call History
Keeping track of your calls is made simple by the Phone Manager desktop console.
Phone Manager lists all your previous calls (including missed calls), displaying a wide variety of
data about each call (date, time, duration, caller ID to name but a few). You can store up to 1000 entries
which are easily sorted by chosen fields.
If you need to redial a number, just click the dial icon and the call is made.
Contacts Database
Centralise your contacts list with Phone Manager. The integrated directory stores all the Inter-Tel
system speed dial and extension numbers, as well as allowing you to add your own personal contacts.
Then searching for a number is easy - just type in the quick dial field and Phone Manager will find
a matching entry as you type. Then click 'dial' and the call is made.
Quick Dial Directory
Phone Manager Standard allows speed dials from the telephone system, including internal extension
numbers as well as personal entries that the user can add to the directory to be dialled quickly by
using the Quick Dial Directory.
The Quick Dial Directory allows all these entries to be searched by simply entering the name of the
contact that is to be dialled. The Quick Dial Directory will automatically start matching as you type
the name of the contact, as soon as the correct contact has been found the dial button can be
selected to dial the contact from the extension associated with Phone Manager.

Quick Dial Hot Key
Phone Manager Standard has the ability to allow users to highlight a number in another application,
such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Office and then with a user customisable hot key combination the
highlighted number will be dialled from the extension associated with Phone Manager.
Do Not Disturb (DND) and forward state control
Phone Manager Standard allows users to set their DND message via their computer, including the ability
to set a custom DND message.
The forward state for incoming calls can also be set from within Phone Manager.
Users can simply forward their calls to another extension, hunt group or even an outside number
via Phone Manager. Phone Manager even remembers previously applied forwarding numbers for those who
change their forward state frequently.
Call Recorder Integration
If you have Xarios Call Recorder running,
the Phone Manager directory will display a playback icon that allows you to listen to any recordings
to which you access. One click, and you can playback the conversation, eliminating the need to log into
the Call Recorder and search for the call.
