Appointment Reminder
When people miss pre-arranged appointments it costs businesses
both time and money. Appointments are missed for a variety of
reasons but the most common is that people simply forget. This is
especially true with appointments that are made a long time in
advance such as dentists or car servicing.
The Appointment Reminder IVR helps to minimize these lost
appointments by informing people prior to an appointment via an
automated call or SMS notification.
In addition, the IVR can also be used to gather information
from the customer using DTMF and act accordingly either by
transferring the call to a live user or by storing the request and
sending the details on via email. An example of this would be
asking the customer during the automated call whether they can
still make their appointment or not. Any appointments that
are likely to be missed would be identified a lot earlier and give
the business an opportunity to rebook waiting clients.
