TAPI

Telephone Application Programming Interface

Microsoft's TAPI is a commonly used method of implementing telephony features from a desktop application.  Many applications are TAPI compliant and can use the interface to make calls, clear calls and screen pop customer records automatically.

Xarios' Phone Client software provides a 1st Party TAPI interface that allows these applications to talk to your office telephone.  Here is a list of some of the many applications that support this interface:

  • Maximizer
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Frontrange Goldmine

If you have an application that is TAPI compliant then integrating Xarios' software should be a simple and quick process.  Contact a Xarios sales representative for more information.
