We are excited to announce the launch of release 5.2 of the Application Suite for MiVoice Office 250. This release includes a range of new features for Phone Manager & Mitel 6900 Series phone users.
The built-in directory of the phones has now been updated, users can now access their Phone Manager and server-based contacts (including linked CRM data) directly from their phone. This allows them to search their mobile contacts, phone system directory, Phone Manager directory and server-based directories all at the same time, straight from the phone’s built-in directory interface.
Contact matches will also be made on calls, the names of customers and other directory matches will be displayed directly on the phone when making or receiving calls!
The call history user interface on the 6900 series phones is now synced to a user’s Phone Manager call history. Users now see the same call history on each of their devices (Phone Manager Desktop/Mobile/Softphone and the desktop 6900 phone), no matter which device was used to make the call.
Both call history and directory updates are available to all 6900 users once upgraded to 5.2.
Phone Manager now supports the Kuando Busylight to provide clear status information to colleagues. This plug & play accessory is supported in Professional & Team Leader versions of Phone Manager, providing a clear indication of user or agent status.

Real-Time Wallboard allows you to see a huge variety of statistics at a glance, including corporate images and videos as well as user entered information and external data sources*. Queue minder IVR applications gets new wall board activity view.
The Xarios pre-packaged Queue minder application can now benefit for a management reporting capability using the MiVO Wallboard - this enables organisations to see at a glance how many call backs are in the queue and how many staff or agents are available to make these calls – this enables the supervisor to manage effectively their performance thresholds.

The Latest version of the Xarios designed and developed Mitel MiVoice Application Suite is due for release during quarter 1 of the year – this important release brings much called for additions to the existing portfolio in the shape of Real-Time reporting, Wallboards, Supervisor Dashboards and contact centre agent analytics this new version also supports Phone Manager functionality on the Mitel 6900 range of terminals.
Existing MiVO Application Suite users who have a current SWAS agreement can update to the new version without charge and add applications to suit their business processes – and importantly they have the opportunity to try these without charge using the 14 day trial licence program.
Of course development never stops! And in the wings are an additional ‘Personal Wallboard’ application that enables managers to have a specialized view of the key metrics relevant to their role in the business; additional functionality on the MiVO Mobile Client is also due for release in the early months together with an updated version of Call Recorder to offer a ‘right to remove’ capability to align with the new GDPR regulations that will come into force in May 2018.

Our MiVO Application Suite Release 5.0 is due to come to market within the first quarter – this will add further easy to deploy applications to sit alongside our Phone Manager and Phone Manager Mobile offerings and bring Call Reporting and Call Recording into the family of products – all pre-installed for deployment on a single server.
The method of integration to the MiVO and the single server environment drastically reduce the time and complexity of installation – the new licencing model simplifies the registration of any additional licences.
Of course the installation is only easy if you have done the installation course! A new R5.0 course will be available from Mitel at the time of launch and in addition Xarios will be running a series of workshops for engineers who have completed the course but who value a hands on session with product experts to clarify any questions on installation, licencing and upgrades – dates for these will be available at the time the product is launched.

As part of the Application suite 5.0 we will be introducing compatibility with the EMIS health care application – again we are excited by the opportunities this together with the Call Recording and Reporting applications bring for healthcare applications. This package enables a highly specified application solution for Doctors surgeries who use the EMIS application (EMIS have approx. 55% of the doctor’s surgery market) they can save valuable time by screen popping the Patient details and ensure they are hitting their performance targets issuing the Call Reporter application – the Call Recorder application ensures that sensitive conversations and instructions are stored for future reference.
